A Barrier Gate is a simple way of restricting vehicle traffic.  It comprises a top bar and an angled brace connected to a vertical hanging stile. The gates are hung and shut onto or between square gate posts.
The maximum width of our barrier gates is 3.6m

Materials

All the barrier gates we make are manufactured using joinery-grade timber.

Gate Fixings

Barrier gates are hung using standard field gate hinges.

The barrier is securely held either open or closed with a field gate auto-catch incorporating a modified striker or a loop over catch. Alternatively, a hasp and staple can be used.
