Chestnut strainer posts for use as an end or corner post, suitable for stock fence and wire netting. Strainers have pointed, or square cut ends.
These posts are not pressure treated as Chestnut is a hardwood. However, the lower portion of our Chestnut strainer posts and struts can be painted with bitumen or a wood preservative to add extra protection and increase the post’s life.
