The posts are normally set at 1.8m centres for half-round post and rail. This allows for a post at either end and in the centre of each standard 3.6m (12′) rail.
Use 110mm machined half-round posts.
100mm machined Half Round Rail is animal friendly and suitable for stock or horses.
Sawn Rails (3.6m x 38 x 88mm) can be substituted if desired.
Half-round rail and sawn rail are attached to posts using galvanised nails or 75 to 100-mm screws suitable for external use. (2 per rail per post)
Half-round posts and rails are pressure treated.
