More Information
Palisade, or Picket fence as it is sometimes called, is very popular as front or back garden boundary fencing, particularly where a solid fence is not needed or desired. Picket fencing can also be used to partition off parts of the garden, such as the veggie patch from children and pets. Matching gates and fittings are available.
Our Palisades and Pickets have Round, Pointed or Flat tops. They have a smooth finish.
All our Palisade and Picket materials are pressure treated with preservative for longevity. To produce the traditional cottage style fence, once the timber has dried, it can be stained or painted. Paint should be water-based, microporous and of external quality. Dark colours should be avoided as they attract heat which may cause additional movement in the timber.
