Delivery Area

  • Area 1 - Every weekday
  • Area 2 - Tuesday and Thursday
  • Area 3 - Wednesday
  • Area 4 - Tuesday and Thursday
  • Area 5 - Friday
  • Area 6 - Deliveries by arrangement

General

  • The delivery address property name or number must be clearly visible from the road. If necessary, a temporary sign can be used.
  • Please help us by telling us about any landmarks etc., that will enable the driver to find you quickly.
  • All deliveries will be agreed upon and arranged solely at the discretion of Crestala Fencing.
  • Deliveries are made between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Whilst we try to deliver to our customers at the agreed time and date, this cannot be guaranteed as traffic and other circumstances beyond our control can affect our delivery schedules. If this happens, we will try to contact you ASAP.
  • Deliveries will be to the invoice address unless otherwise agreed and confirmed by Crestala Fencing.
  • It is essential that our Team is informed of any access problems when ordering or requesting a quote for delivery.
    This includes any vehicle or road width restrictions, vehicle weight restrictions and any type of parking or loading restrictions (including Red Routes).
  • Deliveries will be to the front or roadside of the property, accessible by good road or hard standing, and goods will be off-loaded adjacent to the vehicles near side, usually to the kerb in front or driveway of the delivery address.
  • Sometimes, it is possible to drive onto the customer's property to unload the materials closer to the point of use.
    Our lorries are large and heavy, so they can easily damage driveways, gates, gate posts etc.
    Our drivers have been instructed not to drive onto the customer's property until they have carried out an assessment and are satisfied that it is safe to do so, and the customer, tenant or land owner has signed a waiver accepting full responsibility for any damage that may occur.
  • Our drivers have been instructed not to drive onto grassed areas intentionally.
  • Goods cannot be moved over distance from the unloading point. We recognise that this can sometimes create problems for our disabled customers. Making special arrangements before the delivery date may be possible in this case. Please talk to our Sales Team. There may be a charge for this service.
  • Any shortages, damaged or defective items must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. We strongly recommend that all items are checked at the time of delivery.
  • The risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery.
  • The title to the goods will only pass to the buyer once full payment has been received.
  • Fencing is generally bulky and heavy. Therefore, to avoid the risk of injury, we strongly advise that suitable manual handling training is taken before the goods are delivered.

Delivery Cost

  • Area 1 - £20.00 including VAT
  • Areas 2 to 5 - £30.00 including VAT
  • Area 6 - By arrangement only -Nominal cost £80.00. The actual delivery cost may vary based on the delivery location, size and type of customer order. Minimum order quantities/values may apply to some locations. Contact our Sales Team for a full itemised quote including delivery.
  • Area 1 – Delivery is free for orders with a total value of over £500, including VAT (Excludes trade and discounted orders)

Returns Policy

We hope you are satisfied with our products, but if you wish to return some items purchased from us, the following rules will apply:

Please Note - The following items will NOT be accepted for refunds or credit.

  • Post mix and Cement or any powdered products.
  • Aggregates. (Bulk or plastic bags of sand, ballast, shingle, tarmac or winter grit)
  • Any liquids. (Wood treatments, wood preservatives, end seals, wood oils, wood cleaners or bitumen products)
  • Any timber cut to size, mortised or machined especially for your order.
  • Any special order products. (Products purchased or manufactured specifically to fulfil your order)

Any goods returned for credit or refund are subject to the following conditions.

  • Standard stock item in its original packaging, unopened and in good resaleable condition.
  • Less than 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • Accompanied by the original receipt/invoice.
  • A minimum administration and restocking charge of 20% of returned goods value.
  • A manager must inspect and approve returns valued over £100.
  • Refunds/credit are made in the same format as the original payment was received. Card, BACS or Cash within 7 days of the return date. No credit will be processed until all the items have been returned to our yard and inspected.
  • A charge will be made for any returned goods that require collection, which will be:
    Areas 1 to 5 collection cost - a minimum of 1.5 times the current standard area delivery cost.
    Area 6 collection cost of 1.5 times the original delivery cost OR £50 whichever is the greater.
