Safety Sack Hook

A Safety sack hook can be used as a safer alternative to a cabin hook for holding gates open. This is because they have a hinged retaining loop which reduces the risk of the gate coming unhooked. When gates tend to vibrate during bad weather, standard cabin hooks can pop out of the receiver hole, allowing the gate to swing loose.
Unlike a standard cabin hook which is rigid, the safety hook is attached by a short chain allowing for more flexibility in the fixing position.
