10cm x 7.5cm posts are great for fence panels. They have a small, unobtrusive 75mm front, but the added strength of a 100mm depth.

Materials:Pressure treated softwood. All 100 x 75mm posts are pressure treated with the latest generation preservatives to UC4 standard for in-ground contact. To extend the life of the fence, you may want to consider adding a timber treatment or wood preserver that can add extra protection to the part of the post going into the ground.
How to Use

Here's a bit more general information about our wooden 100 x 75mm Fence Posts.

When used to support fencing, we recommend that 100 x 75mm posts be secured in the ground with postmix in holes a minimum of 600mm deep, increasing to 750mm deep for fencing over 1.5m high. 

Edge chamfering and router lines can be added to softwood posts if desired.

Protect the top of your post with a Metal post cap or a standard Wooden post cap.

If you can, we do recommend adding an extra treatment to any timber that is in contact with the ground, particularly from 100mm (4") above ground level to 450mm (18") below ground level. 
Installation Tips

For use with fence panels, allow 600mm (2ft) in the ground up to 1.2m panel height. For panels over 1.2m high, exposed areas, or soft ground, we recommend increasing this to 750mm (2ft 6ins).

We have both fast-setting post mix and the more traditional Ballast and cement to make up a dry mix. Either of these options is suitable for securely fixing 10cm x 7.5cm posts in position.
