A treated softwood plate, with mortises for two or three cleft rails, is used to attach cleft rails to square gate posts, walls or to other existing fencing.
The plates can be attached with either landscape screws or coach screws.
The standard plate size is 1.2m x 100 x 75. These plates are mortised to match the mortise details of either our Cleft or sawn posts for Cleft rail fencing. Please tell us which in the Additional Information section on the cart page.
If you require them to be mortised to match posts from other suppliers etc, please see Made to Measure Sizes section below.
Wall and post plates are custom-made to order and bespoke; therefore, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges.
