Wooden Repair Spurs for Wooden Posts
Wooden spurs are the cheapest option for repairing and extending the life of wooden fence posts that have rotted off at ground level.
The wooden spur is fitted down beside the existing rotted post, as with the Metal or Concrete spurs and then attached with at least two landscape or heavy-duty timber screws.
The workload is the same as with concrete or metal spurs, but because the repair spur is timber, it has a much shorter lifespan, so we recommend fitting concrete or metal spurs. These may cost a little more initially but will save in the longer term.
A sloping top can be added as an extra if required.
