Crestala Tongue and Groove Gates are manufactured on-site in our workshop by our skilled Gatemakers in a variety of styles and finishes. We can make non-standard sizes if required. We can make special sizes on request. This includes single tongue and groove garden gates or matching double gates (pairs of gates for wider entrances) in a range of widths from an 900mm (3ft) single tongue and groove gate up to a 3.6m (12ft) pair of Hartfield Swish Top driveway gates and in heights from 900mm (3ft) to 2.1 (7ft).
Our Tongue and Groove gates are made to be robust yet offer excellent value for money. The timber used is pressure-treated, joinery-grade, grown Scandinavian redwood. The preservative protects against rot and insect attack. We stock a comprehensive range of gate fittings and gate furniture to complement your new gate. All Tongue and Groove gates supplied by Crestala must be stored, treated and cared for properly before and after hanging. Please, read the recommendations on our "Important Gate Care Information" sheet for more detailed instructions. Failure to follow these instructions may invalidate any future claims. Crestala also sell a range of Iroko hardwood drive and entrance gates. All wooden gates are susceptible to natural movement or shaking (cracks in the timber) as the wood expands and contracts during the normal weathering process.
