We stock a selection of field gate hanging hooks suitable for five bar style gates and some of the larger sizes of Adjustable Hooks and Rides or Cranked Hooks and Rides.
All pins are 19mm (3/4″) diameter fittings

Product descriptions and uses

Hook to Bolt

Hooks to bolt are the top hanging fitting for wooden gate posts.
A 19mm auger will be required to drill a hole right through the post.

Hook to Drive

Hooks to Drive are the bottom hanging fitting for wooden gate posts.
A 19mm auger will be required to drill a hole into the post.

Hook to Build

Hook to build can be used as the top and bottom hanging fitting for building into brick or concrete gateway piers.

Square Hooks on Plates

Hooks on plates can be used on wooden posts, brick or concrete piers and walls.
The plates are attached using four coach screws.

Oblong Hooks on Plates

Oblong hooks on plates are used on wooden posts, brick or concrete piers and walls where the space to fit the plate is restricted.
The plates are attached using two coach screws.

Square Adjustable Hooks on Plates

Hooks on plates can be used on wooden posts, brick or concrete piers and walls.
The plates are attached using four coach screws.
A 19mm hole is required behind the centre of the plate with a minimum depth of 40mm.

Oblong Adjustable Hooks on Plates

Hooks on plates can be used on wooden posts, brick or concrete piers and walls.
The plates are attached using six external quality screws with a minimum length of 65mm.
A 19mm hole is required behind the centre of the plate with a minimum depth of20mm.

Stainless Steel Security Collar

Security collars make it more difficult for thieves to steal your gate.
They fit 19mm gate hanging pins.
The collars are easily fitted by tapping with a mallet but are challenging to remove.

Security

To make it even harder for your gates to be stolen, it is good practice to reverse one of the pins that the top and bottom gate rides fit onto. The gate(s) cannot be lifted off the hinge pins and removed. It does not matter which pin is reversed. We prefer reversing the top pin so that the pins are then facing each other. We think this looks neater.
