Crestala's Drive & Entrance Gates are crafted on-site in our workshop by our skilled Gatemakers, offering various styles and finishes. We can produce custom sizes and some bespoke designs. All gates made by Crestala are built to be sturdy while providing excellent value for money. The timber used is pressure-treated, joinery-grade, slow-growing Scandinavian redwood. This treatment enhances protection against rot and insect attack. Cosmetic finishes can be added later if desired. A wide range of gate fittings is available from stock. All treated softwood gates may experience natural movement or cracking (in the timber) as the wood expands and contracts through normal weathering. This is not considered a defect unless it is very severe.
All Drive and Entrance Gates supplied by Crestala must be stored, treated and cared for properly before and after hanging. Please, read the recommendations on our "Important Gate Care Information" sheet for more detailed instructions.
