This fitting allows the gate shutting stile height to be adjusted. This feature comes in handy when the gate ages and the shutting stile end begins to drop. This adjustment ensures that the gate catch will work and that pairs of gates stay in line.

19mm Adjustable gate eyes can be used to repair a damaged Adjustable Bottom Ride providing the threaded portion is long enough. (Check the existing thread length required as thread length on these eyes does vary.)
These eyes are also suitable for most metal Seven Bar Field Gates as a top or bottom fitting.
