Installation Tips

To fit the catch, you will need:

A 12mm drill bit for wood at least 100 long is required to drill the hole for attaching the striker through the gate shutting stile.

A suitable size drill bit. Either for wood or masonry, depending on what type of posts/pillars are being used. To either drill pilot holes for the coach screws to attach to wooden posts or holes for suitable plugs (not included) for the coach screws if you are attaching to brick or concrete pillars.

A selection of spanners/adjustable wrenches.
As the nut, bolt and coach screw sizes can vary, please check the spanner and drill sizes required when you receive your set.
