Crestala's Nutley Closeboard Gate, with its distinctive slatted top, will look good on the side or front of any house. They are built in our workshop to be sturdy yet offer excellent value for money. The timber used is pressure-treated, joinery-grade, slow-growing Scandinavian redwood. The treatment provides effective protection against rot and insect infestations. We can create special widths and heights. To order, please see the Made to Measure section below.

Left Hand Hanging - Looking at the FRONT of the gate, the hinges will be on your LEFT.
Right Hand Hanging - Looking at the FRONT of the gate, the hinges will be on your RIGHT.

Installation Tips

 We can supply a full range of gate hinges, latches, and security bolts to help you hang and secure your new Nutley gate.

All treated softwood gates are susceptible to natural movement or shaking (cracks in the timber) as the wood expands & contracts during normal weathering. This is not considered to be a defect unless it is very severe.
Recommended Aftercare

All Nutley Closeboard gates made by Crestala must be stored, treated and cared for properly before and after hanging. Please, read the recommendations on our "Crestala Gate Care Information" sheet for more detailed instructions.
