Composite Gravel Boards for DuraPost come in two lengths:
1/ 1.83m (6ft long ) for under standard UK fence panels. You can easily shorten each board with a hand saw when fitting under 1.8m wide continental-style panels.
2/ 2.44m (8ft long) for longer bays of closeboard or Palisade fencing.
Suitable Posts
Although made for DuraPost, these gravel boards will also fit our standard concrete slotted posts.
With the addition of metal cleats or gravel board brackets, our composite gravel boards can also be adapted for mortised concrete posts and treated softwood posts.
Galvanised reinforcing insert
A galvanised reinforcing insert that fits into each composite gravel board to increase its strength and rigidity is available. Please see the photo.
Please Note: These are lightweight gravel boards and are only suitable for holding back minimal amounts of soil. They are not recommended for retaining soil or as part of a retaining wall.
Interlocking tongue and groove boards
Composite gravel boards can be stacked to make a solid fence panel. Each board has a tongue on the upper side and a groove on the bottom side. This overlap prevents gaps between the boards when placed on top of one another.
