Line wire is stapled to wooden posts at the desired height with 30mm staples.

Galvanised line wire is an easy way to strengthen lightweight netting like Rabbit netting; it is usually added at the netting's top and bottom, but a centre row can also be added to add extra strength. Putting line wire above stock-style fencing is a cheap means of increasing the overall fence height.

You can also use single strands of line wire to form a simple fence line, stapled to pressure-treated round posts or the cheaper and more rustic chestnut posts.
